Kindara in the News!
This is an exciting time for Kindara!
In June we completed the Haxlr8r start-up accelerator program and returned home from 15 weeks in Shenzhen, China. Our Demo Day was on June 18th at Autodesk in San Francisco. I was so proud of what we all created while in China. Haxlr8r’s first batch of graduates is an impressive bunch, indeed. Here’s to all the hard work put in by Axio, Bilibot, Loccie, Makeblock, Nomiku, Sassor, Portable Scores and Shaka!

The founders of these eight companies have been our partners in crime for the past 4 months, working insane hours in an unfamiliar environment, but never too busy to lend a hand, an honest opinion, or a shoulder to cry on. I miss everyone and wish you all the best. And a big thanks to Sean and Cyril for giving us this opportunity, and to all the mentors who helped steer us in the right direction. We’ll be forever grateful.
Kindara got a lot of attention at Demo Day, and we were featured in Forbes, Make, GigaOm, CBS, CNet, Xconomy, Betakit, and The Washington Post. Bloomberg TV even called us “The Future of Reproductive Health”
I also had blog posts published at Circle + Bloom and the Society for Menstrual Cycle Research.
And we released a new version of Kindara. We think V1.3 is the best fertility charting software available anywhere. We updated the chart and added a few new great features that our users are loving. We’ve got another great update coming in about a week!
In addition to all the Demo Day excitement, we have relocated Kindara (and ourselves) to Boulder, CO. After being in Shenzhen we wanted to live closer to nature, while still being in a start-up friendly environment.
We are very happy to be here! Boulder is beautiful and we look forward to making lots of great connections. If you know someone in Boulder who we should meet, please get in touch.
Thank you for being part of our journey. The best is yet to come!

What’s the Difference Between a BBT and Normal Thermometer?
Hello! What is the difference between purchasing a normal over the counter digital thermometer verses a basal body temp thermometer? I read my temps in Celsius (I'm Canadian, eh..lol) and have a typical over the counter one that reads one point to the right, for example 37.5. Is this okay to use? Thanks -Anonymous 35 Canada Hey there! In general, basal body temperature (BBT) thermometers ...

How Do I Tell The Difference Between Types of Cervical Fluid?
I'm starting to chart my CF but I am still confused about what each kind of cervical fluid should look like and feel like. I'm especially confused between sticky and egg white consistency. Thanks! -Oli 28 Mexico Hi Oli, Distinguishing between types of cervical fluid can be difficult and it can take a couple of cycles to identify your pattern. Every woman is different, so it makes sense that...

Is Temperature the Only Way to Confirm Ovulation?
Hello, My husband and I have been trying for a baby for about a year and charting with kindara for about 4 cycles to no avail. (I'm charting my fifth cycle now). I was previously diagnosed with PCOS, but I have had regular 30-33 day cycles for the past 6 months or so. While menstruating and consistent temperature shifts lead me to believe that I am ovulating, I am not sure whether I am. Are there...
